Today I love my mailman for bringing me this book:
It's a memoir written by Kelle Hampton on the birth of her daughter, Nella.
Miss Brenna and Nella happen to share the same extra love on their twenty-first chromosome.
Kelle is a HUGE advocate for those of us with kids like this, and anyone who has a special-needs child.
Stop by her blog, kellehampton.com. It is truly a beautiful experience each and every time I stop by.
I can't wait to dive into the book.
Anyone reading anything good this week?
I'll have to read it once I get that pile by my bed down to a manageable level. Just finished "The Forgotten Founding Father" (about Noah Webster) and "Among Others." I read in the paper that Albert Pujols who came to the Angels from the Cardinals is the stepdad of a DS girl, Isabella, and he and his wife are very focused on that with their foundation. Who knew?
ReplyDeleteHi Lynn,
ReplyDeleteThis book must be so comforting, just to have that connection in a book and read about others that deal with the same situations you deal with in your everyday life.
My new book is Undecorate, definitely not as deep, seeing how it is a decorating book, but I need a mind freeing book in life right now to cozy up with.

My daughter told me about this book. She has it on her birthday wish list.
