Do you recall this collage?

I have to say, it is one of my favorites!
My friend, Manya bought it and it now lives in GREECE!!
Yep. In the beach house.
I am so proud of it, traveling all that way!
It was sent with much love and many wishes to bring peace and happiness.

Miss Manya sent me a picture the other day. Here is what she had done to the collage:

I think the frame sets off the collage beautifully, don't you?
I love the frame. It reminds me of old driftwood.
I hope it has a happy life, living in Greece. I know I would!
Thank you, sweet friend!

  1. Awwwwwww, what a happy ending for a beautiful piece of artwork. Congrats dear girl! I love it!

ps and yes the frame is perfect!

  2. It DOES look like driftwood, and I think it is perfect with the collage. I hadn't seen that one before. It's as lovely as I've come to expect here.

I love your eye for layering. You have finesse. I have decided that's one thing wrong with my decorating. I don't have enough layering going on.

I'm blah...one dimensional... Want to come to Georgia and "collage" my house?

  3. It's so fun to see where your art ends up!

  4. How lovely to have your artwork around the globe ... that is so special and rightly so ... your creativity is amazing!

Happy Weekend to you and yours!

  5. I love it, love it, love it! The frame is perfect.

    Sometime...a collage for me, too!

  6. WooHoo!!!

    All the way to Greece!!!

    Shall we go visit it???

But I guess that is a bit further than Vermont..........

  7. hi lynn! i think this collage was what you were showing the first time i found your blog! it's what "grabbed" me! still just as beautiful! i love your work, and am so proud to now be the owner of 2 beautiful pieces...which get to watch the buckets of alaskan rain falling outside rather than basking in wonderful greek sunshine - sigh.

  8. What a beautiful Collage.. How lucky is she to get to frame it!

  9. Hi this is the collage,
I'm sitting here on the wall overlooking the Aegean Sea, and a fuchsia bougainvillea, feeling content and loved....although the family is a bit coo-coo!!!!!!

    Many Kisses!

  10. Oh Yes...
I want to live in Greece with your beautiful collage!!! How cool is that friend!!! & how sweet of her to send you a pic of it hanging on her wall, it looks magnificent in it's old wood frame.
Glad Brenna had fun at camp & we'll just have to get together sometime soon. Give her a hug for me.
