Good morning! We are leaving our final Wal Mart in Flagstaff, Arizona. Six hours until home!!!!! My bed!!! A shower!!!! My coffee pot!!
We do have a fair amount of cleaning and sorting to do with all the racer and crew's gear, but we will be doing all this in familiar territory!!

  1. gosh, i know you are probably oh so sick of being on the road dear lynn, but all your traveling, through so many states, sounds so awesome to me! we on the island have two options: drive left for 20 minutes to the end of the road and a bay, or drive right for 45 minutes to the other end of the same road and a bay. thank you for sharing your road trip! i will most likely never see any of those states!!
enjoy being back home, and happy 4th!

  2. Are you in your bed now? I hope you are fast asleep and enjoying it immensely. I hope the bug bites have stopped itching and you are enjoying the peace and quiet of just your own family. What a marvelous trip...warts and all!!!
    Love,

  5. Oh my goodness, Lynn! I've gotten behind on my blogging, and had no idea that you'd trekked across the country in your motor home and back! Wow, what an adventure! Bet you are so glad to be home! I love rving too, but our trip from MI to WA just about did us in, too! I've never spent the night in a Walmart parking lot, but we did have to spend the night a few years back at a church parking lot out in the middle of no where in New Brunswick. Someone (by the name of "hubby") neglected to stop at the last gas station in sight, and it was well after midnight, with no more gas in sight! Oh, and we camped at the LL Bean store parking lot once in Maine! hahaha!
