Welcome!!!
I'm so happy you stopped by to see my humble surroundings.
They may not be fancy, but I LOVE this space.
It was given to me about 3 years ago, when my sweet husband sent me packing on a weekend get away to rest and recharge. (L.O.V.E. that man)
When I came home, he had emptied this room of all his office supplies and handed it over-lock, stock and barrel to be filled with my art.
Did I mention I love this guy?
I just went through a massive clean up campaign before taking photos. I cannot show it messy two years in a row!
Many thanks to Karen Valentine for working so darn hard to make this possible.
Ready?
Come on in!!

It's amazing how much I have accumulated in three years.

This is a little spot where a small t.v. is on the opposite side of the couch. It's nice to have on once in a while, or to have one of the kids in the room while I'm working.

Of course, there is ALWAYS something waiting to be worked on, or finished...

I do love putting pretty things on my shelves, especially when made by friends or family!

Another project that began, and unfortunately, I can't find these figurines very easily. So this regal lady keeps me company.

One can never have enough scrabble tiles!
These were a Brazilian version I found at the local Thrift store. Which explains the wonderful yellow color of the tiles.

Tools of the trade.

And never, ever enough storage!

An idea board I made when I unexpectedly found this bulletin board in a dumpster.

More storage space

More projects waiting to be worked on...

My "Spot" as declared for me by my eldest daughter, who helped my husband move his stuff out and mine in!

If it's not labeled, I can't find it. And then I still have trouble finding it.

Even if it's in clear storage.

Long-time favorites:

and memories:

Paper = love.

The traveling bag..

Take a good look, this desk won't stay clean for long!

Thank you so very much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed the tour, I sure enjoyed having you visit.

xo,

lynn

  2. Hi Lynn, I'm so glad you are participating in Karen's blog party too. I'm still working on my post but I thought I'd take a peek or two. I love your space. Amazing!! You have so many beautiful supplies to work with. I'm in awe. I love how this party inspires us so much. I always walk away with a few items that stay in my mind and whether it's something simple which I later see in my own space, it always puts a smile on my face to see how it connects us.

    Keep dreaming, my friend.
    Much love!

  9. I think we could all use more space, Lynn! More storage space, more working space, no matter what we've presently got! You have such an organized space and like myself and others, keep those personal items close by. These spaces are obviously important to us if we make it that personal. I love your desk space, but I'm afraid if I had someplace comfy like that couch I wouldn't get much done!

  33. Ahhhh... what a sweet husband! That story brought a tear to my eye..... so touching.

What a FAB.U.LOUS space to create. Lots and lots of storage... now, I have an idea that might just work for you too. I have that same problem with finding things I have tucked away.... and I'm never quite sure.... should I store everything to do with one project together, even if the supplies overlap with another project? OH MY.... I often open a basket or tin to find something I've been searching for...that I want to use with something else. Well, this is what I've come up with THIS time... who knows if it's actually going to work, but I'm going to take photos of each area.... enlarge them and copy them onto paper. Then I can make notes about what's in each container right on that paper. A little crafty map of sorts??? :-) Hoping it's gonna help this chickie.

Thank you so much for you sweet comment... it meant the world to me... it really did.
