This week begins several celebrations.
Miss B goes to our church's Prom for the adult disabled group.
(Now there's a celebration!!!)
Later we will travel to be with some life-long family friends to celebrate their daughter's wedding.
The Anthro-Inspired Book Garland and Paper Flowers have been packed up and are heading their way to the wedding.
The other celebration is that I have been able to get some amazing painting time in.
I got lost in this one and fell in love with the quote by E.E. Cummings.
"I love you much most beautiful darling
more than anyone on the earth...
and I like you better than everything in the sky."
Perfect for good for weddings, celebrations and declarations of love.
The next painting was a little different.
It began with a quick sketch and took on a life of it's own.
Hoping your week is full of celebrations, big and small!

Beautiful work and quote. I also very much like the sketch that took on it's own life. It's just so beautiful when art works leave some space for imagination. Happy PPF.
ReplyDeleteThe quote is beautiful as is your artwork. The colours are so serene, love it.

I love the softness of your work, as well as your soft color palette. The painting featuring the E.E. Cummings quote is my favorite, because I love the warmth that little heart brings. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteWhat neat art work, Lynn! You have done a beautiful job with the e. e. cummings quote. The colors and the written script are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have a busy weekend ahead! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI am loving both of your canvasses. The background look like they would have been fun to do!
Hugs~
I hope Miss Brenna has a wonderful time at the prom! You're right that that is a great reason to celebrate.
ReplyDeleteYour art is just beautiful this week, and I love that quote. That's exactly how I feel about my husband. Feel free to hurl now...
I haven't been around much lately so it's good to have time to sit and visit.
Both pieces are wonderful! I love ee cummings - and you did that quotation proud! Love the sense of layers worn away by time.
ReplyDeleteBoth creations are beautiful! I enjoy the way you included the quote!
ReplyDeleteLots of depth and detail in your painting. I love how your colors still seem light and fresh.
ReplyDeleteHappy Paint Party Friday!
