For This Moment...

Have you ever had a day when you realize that you are just  so blessed? I looked at my friend, Robin, this weekend and said, "Just for right now, in this minute, all of life is o.k." And it was true. We were with friends, it was a beautiful day at the beach, Brenna was not at the doctor's, Lauren is doing fabulously well in college, our little family was together. Now, believe me, I know that it can all hit the fan in a moment. But for that moment....well, it was full of grace.

Here are some of the highlights of this Labor Day weekend.
 Crafting!!
Yeah, baby! I found this bottle for a buck and dressed it up.

Working on the Sweet and Spinister Swap items with my best  friend of life, Wendy.

Lots of pool time. Lots! At one point, we had seven kids playing and jumping and splashing. I love the sound.

And to top it off, we went to visit Lauren at school! She is doing amazingly well. Brenna had a ball walking up and down the hall, meeting all the girls on the dorm floor! She would settle in just fine, thank you very much. It was a sweet visit, full of hugs and kisses, laughter and sunshine. Like I said. All was right in the world for that moment. I am so grateful!

I know-how cute is he???!!
Have a great day, friends. And I truly hope you find your moment today.
Love, Lynn

  1. You remind me I need to get my swap goodies out the door.
About jamming: so far I haven't thought it was too hard, but we've also never done more than 5 lbs of fruit, which yields four or five fairly small jam jars. I think where it can get to be a big job is when you get into mass quantities. We're working our way up. We might try some pickles if we can find some good cucumbers this weekend.
