A New Canvas

Remember this?

My gel transfer mess.
I'm happy to report it has turned into this:

And....I kinda like it.

A lot.

This canvas was saved through Christy Tomlinson's She Art class.

I was supposed to be doing the section where you make a scene by cutting up paper to make grass.
oops.

Hope you are feeling like you can fly or sing today...

  7. Lynn,
I like that a whole lot. I think it is my favorite of all! Or one of my two favorites ;-) What a recovery! I keep thinking I will find my image transfer book but...no luck. Makes me wonder if I actually bought it. I am spacey these days.

  8. Oh, this is spectacular, Lynn! The bird has such depth and dimension, and I especially like its wonderful sense of movement...I could actually see it in flight...so lovely! The lettering style echoes the sense of flight beautifully...love the little curlicues and special touches. Wow!

  13. Is that like the old "sink or swim" question??

I'm not sure if I am ready to fly or sing today.

I'm more like a chicken with it's head cut off.

    eewwwww.............

    But your canvas!!!!

    My goodness.

I can tell you are flying AND singing.

    At the same time.
