Art Every Day Month

Today is the 13th day for Art Every Day Month.

I relented and took Miss Party for a couple of walks...it is stunningly beautiful today,
even if it makes my nose itch like crazy!

Back to the AEDM.
I'm continuing on my theme of "speaking the truth," and was inspired by my sweet friend, Amy, to take it a step further.

This is a page in my Sketchbook.

I think of so many people when I wrote this.
Even if we just begin to speak to ourselves, each time we do, we will be stronger.

Have a wonderful Sunday speaking to yourself.

  1. This is so inspiring. I believe in this saying as well. I think that no matter what happends, truth will really set you free. :-) Living in the dark will do you no good.

    have a happy Sunday. :-)

  3. Lynn,
That is the most wonderful saying I have ever seen. I am engraving it on my heart and mind right now! Your soul runs so deep and so many days, when you speak, I feel "fed." Thanks for being special, special you!

  6. I LOVE THIS!!! That quote is awesome, and I love your art.

Really, I needed that exact quote this morning. Let's just say that I am one of shaky voice.

  7. Hi Lynn,
What a beautiful post! I love the color (photos and art), your drawing, and text. It certainly does take courage to speak our minds - our truths - at times, doesn't it?! I know I've had some not great times standing up for myself against some local, small town nasty quilters. They are a gang of mean girls that never grew up, still back in high school. Oooppppsss, slipped into a rant :)
    Happy creating to you,
    xo~ Anna

  8. That's a wonderful sentiment and the bird is so well drawn. I have such a hard time with birds so I really admire them when drawn so nicely! Thanks for your visit to my blog. I am grabbing your button and putting on my side bar! Good night:)
